Speed@Seawork will be held in and around Cowes on the Isle of Wight, UK on Monday 8 June 2026. The onshore location is the Royal Ocean Racing Club.

Vessels operating at high speed, for tasks ranging from security to search and rescue, are a significant specialist sector of the marine industry. As operational demands increase, new solutions are needed for propulsion, navigation, communications and care of the crew.

Speed@Seawork is run on Monday, the day before main Seawork event commences. Delegates meet at Town Quay Southampton then travel across The Solent to the Isle Of Wight.

Delegates will have access to sector-specific companies throughout the day and receive pertinent key note speeches from MoD personnel.

First introduced in 2018, Speed@Seawork is aimed squarely at facilitating growth and development for the design, build and operation of these specialist vessels. Sea trials will take place in the waters of The Solent off Cowes.
