World Maritime Rescue Congress & Exhibition 2015 is being held from 1st to 4th June at Bremerhaven, Germany.
For 90 years the International Maritime Rescue Federation (formerly the International Lifeboat Federation) has provided events bringing SAR organisations together to exchange knowledge, share experiences and discuss how to prevent loss of life in the world’s waters.
The World Maritime Rescue Congress 2015 will provide an international forum of over 400 delegates representing all aspects of maritime SAR. The Congress programme includes topic-focused discussions and practical workshop sessions relating to:
- SAR Organisation and Management
- SAR Mission Coordination
- SAR Operations
- Mass Rescue Operations
- Rescue Boat Guidelines
- Safety on Water Education Awareness Project
- SAR programmes for developing countries
Every four years the IMRF provides a world class forum and exhibition for those involved in maritime search and rescue. The World Maritime Rescue Congress 2015 will provide updates and open discussion on key projects covering:

- Rescue coordination

The World Maritime Rescue Congress 2015 >
The World Maritime Rescue Congress will host a major exhibition, providing suppliers and partners to the sector with a great opportunity to get alongside many of the world's SAR decision makers and practitioners at a single event.

DGzRS - German Sea Rescue Society
On 29th May 2015, DGzRS (German Sea Rescue Society) will celebrate its 150th anniversary with a ceremony in the Bremen Town Hall, that will be attended by the German President, high ranking officials, associated lifeboat services, and international organizations.
