International Conference on Ocean Energy 2016
06.03.2015
The International Conference on Ocean Energy - ICOE 2016 - is being held from 23rd to 25th February in the historical city of Edinburgh, Scotland.
ICOE is a global marine energy event focused on the industrial development of renewable marine energy. RenewableUK is honoured to bring to the UK for the first time, the 6th International Conference on Ocean Energy.
The Conference Programme for this event will be led by a special International Committee comprised of Wave and Tidal energy industry leaders, associations and RenewableUK. The Call for Abstracts will open in April 2015 for anyone interested in speaking at one of the conference sessions.
ICOE 2016 enables manufacturers and suppliers to present their expertise in a relaxed yet focussed atmosphere. RenewableUK sponsorship packages and exhibitions offer a wealth of opportunity to complement brand communication with access to thousands of delegates each year.
ICOE 2016 will give the maritime renewables industry the opportunity to meet face-to-face in the expanded exhibition featuring over 70 international exhibitors including national pavilions. RenewableUK exhibitions are the shop front and showcase for the Wind, Wave & Tidal energy industry.
As the UK is currently the undisputed global leader in marine energy, with more wave and tidal stream devices installed than the rest of the world combined, the UK was a natural choice for this event. ICOE 2016 will take place at the award winning centre of excellence, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).
RenewableUK always keeps the needs of the industry at the forefront of their work and are proud to be presenting ICOE 2016 in place of their usual dedicated Wave & Tidal conference in 2016.
