20 Days To Offshore Patrol & Security Event

Offshore Patrol & Security 2011 is Europe's leading conference and exhibition for the inshore and offshore patrol vessel sector.

Royal Navy Dockyard Portsmouth will be host to more than 30 international navies and coast guards that come together to analyse future challenges and requirements in the offshore patrol sector.

New and emerging markets are discussed as are threats, operational feedback and developments in established fleets around the world.

The Offshore Patrol & Security (OPS) event will be chaired by Vice Admiral Sir Jeremy Blackham, former Royal Navy Deputy Chief of Staff. Speakers included Michael Tangora - US Coast Guard Deputy Assistant Commandant for Acquisition, Chris Trewlawny - IMO Deputy Director Maritime Safety Division and Dr Dave Sloggett from The Centre For Defence Studies.

International visitors to the Offshore Patrol & Security conference include Chile, Poland, Brazil, Finland, India, Netherlands, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Sweden, Brunei, Ireland, Mexico, Pakistan, Oman, Russia, Goa, South Africa, Turkey and the United States.
