RIBEX 2011 Powerboat Show Cowes - Isle Of Wight

RIBEX 2011 at Cowes, Isle Of Wight from 13th to 15th May 2011 is the world’s only boat show dedicated solely to Rigid Inflatable Boats. The 3 day specialist powerboat show is unique in its style and content, mixing the spirit of a festival with that of a serious forum for buyers, both commercial and leisure.

For the industry, RIBEX represents a unique opportunity to target a highly concentrated audience of open boat mariners, both private and professional. The show’s mission is to promote the awareness and use of RIBs in all sectors of the marine industry and to stage a true show in every sense of the word.

Cowes and its Yacht Haven are recognized as playing host to some of the most famous international powerboat and yachting events in the world. RIBEX is delighted to have secured this exclusive event site in this beautiful waterside town as a home for the boat show. The RIBEX site affords excellent facilities and services plus a superb events marina and the adjacent open water trialing ground of the Solent.

All eyes were on RIBEX 2009 to see not only whether the show would signal any economic recovery for the marine trade in general but also just how the RIB market, which has been experiencing uninterrupted growth now for the last ten years, might truly be faring during this time of recession. Several companies chose to use the show as a launch pad for new products and it was a successful show on and off the water.

Based upon the success of this international RIB show, and despite the global decline in event sponsorship generally, Suzuki Marine have signed another three-year sponsorship deal to back RIBEX with show organisers, RIB Exhibitions Ltd.
