Offshore Patrol & Security Conference - Portsmouth - UK April 24 / 25

Offshore Patrol & Security on 24th & 25th April 2013 is an international conference and exhibition dedicated to the Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) and maritime security sector.

Held each year at the Royal Navy Dockyard in Portsmouth, UK the conference attracts over 300 delegates alongside a customer centric exhibition designed to highlight the latest developments in technology.

Offshore Patrol & Security is an important event for all navies and coast guards to attend. The conference is chaired by Rear Admiral (Retd) Chris Parry CBE, Former Director - Development, Concepts and Doctrine Centre. All serving naval and coast guard officers can register for a delegate ticket to attend Offshore Patrol & Security.

With recent humanitarian disasters at the forefront of maritime organisations concerns, the increase in focus on border enforcement, economic exclusion zone protection and counter-piracy operations is on-going. Offshore Patrol & Security will discuss how naval forces, coastguard agencies, industry and other relevant organisations can increase cooperation to improve maritime security, humanitarian relief from the sea and international naval cooperation.

Because of this ever-increasing focus delegates will attend the event with the aim of deciding upon the next actions to be taken in this ever changing and complex task. Offshore Patrol & Security 2013, which has been running annually for four years, will attract an audience of senior and influential naval personnel from around the world.

Offshore Patrol & Security 2013, organised by The Development Network, a well-known UK based conference organiser, is seen as one of the most critical meeting points for nations wishing to decide upon the future of their maritime security policies. The event includes presentations along with discussions focusing on key alliance policies such as NATO and the European Union.

The RIB & HSC Directory is pleased to be a media partner and supporter of OPS 2013 that includes an exhibition of maritime solutions.
