International WorkBoat Show 2015 - New Orleans

The International WorkBoat Show 2015 is from 1st to 3rd December at the Morial Convention Centre, New Orleans.

WorkBoat is the largest commercial marine tradeshow in North America serving  the coastal, inland and offshore waters. Companies display products and services for commercial vessels and the companies that build, service and operate them.

The WorkBoat Annual Conference takes place alongside the International WorkBoat Show. The WorkBoat Conference provides information on current rules and regulations, technology and issues that affect the commercial marine industry. These educational and interactive sessions feature tiered programming that focuses on business management, legal and regulatory issues, safety, security, technical issues and advancements, maritime industry workforce challenges and opportunities.

Workforce day is a new addition to the International WorkBoat Show schedule. This is designed to service a growing need for workers within the commercial marine industry. With more than 54,000 maritime jobs in Louisiana, workforce needs continue to grow. An estimated one in five jobs in Louisiana is connected to the maritime industry, resulting in employment income of more than $3.5 billion each year.

The 2014 show attracted 1,100 exhibitors and over 14,500 visitors from 45 states and 27 countries.
