The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) is proud to host the High Performance Craft Expo - HiPer Craft 2012 on 26th & 27th June at the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center, Norfolk Virginia.
This specialist event will focus on suppliers, operators, maintainers and equipment vendors in the high performance boat and craft community.
Both days of HiPer Craft 2012 will have commercial presentations from vendors showing the latest in small boat and craft technology and processes. There are indoor exhibit booths, outdoor static displays and in-water displays. The conference program continues to expand so check the HiPer Craft 2012 website for agenda updates.
On Tuesday 26th June the keynote address is by RDML David H. Lewis, USN; PEO Ships on Navy acquisition. The Tuesday agenda includes Human Systems Integration for High Speed Watercraft, moderator: Dr. Julie Stark, NSWC Carderock Combatant Craft Division. The Role of the Classification Society for High Performance Government Vessels is a discussion chaired by Mr. Eric R. Norris, ABS Americas.
On Wednesday 27th June the keynote address is by USCG Deputy CAO and Director of Acquisition Services, Michael Tangora on Coast Guard acquisition. The Wednesday agenda includes Shock and Vibration Challenges, Requirements and Advancements, moderator: Dr. Timothy Coats, NSWC Carderock Combatant Craft Division. The Common Maritime Technology Working Group Brief is a discussion chaired by CAPT Patrick Sullivan, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) N5 and Mr. Dennis Danko, NSWC Carderock.
